About This Tool

A free, privacy-first passport & ID photo maker — built and personally tested by Pravesh Singhal.

Why we built this

Getting a passport photo done usually means a trip to a photo studio or drugstore, a wait in line, and a few dollars spent for a handful of prints. This tool lets you do the same job at home in a couple of minutes — upload a photo, align it with the guides, and download a correctly sized, print-ready image, entirely inside your browser.

Privacy comes first

Unlike many passport photo services, nothing you upload here is sent to a server. Cropping, the alignment guides, the optional background tool, and the print sheet layout are all generated locally on your own device using your browser's Canvas API. Your photo never leaves your device.

Who's behind it

This tool is built and maintained by Pravesh Singhal, founder of praveshsinghal.com, where he builds practical web tools, WordPress themes and browser-based utilities. It's part of a small family of free tools, including an invoice maker, an image resizer and a PDF toolkit.

An important note

This is an independent tool and is not affiliated with any government, embassy or passport office. It's designed to help you size and align your photo correctly, but final acceptance of any passport or ID photo is always determined by the issuing authority. Always check current official photo requirements before submitting an application.
